Hunts at Rolling Hills:
Rolling Hills Red Deer Farm is situated on 200+ acres of pennsylvania pasture and woods. Our farm-raised red deer venison is for sale year-round in our shop and we host our hunts from September thru February, when you can take your own venison, and a trophy stag. Choose from over 75 stags and many hinds.
What do you need?
When hunting on our property, you are not required to have a
license or permit of any kind nor any orange clothing. You may
use your choice of rifle, pistol, contender, crossbow, muzzeloader
or bow. Be sure to dress for the weather.
How will you spend your time with us?
Upon arrival, coffee or hot tea is available before you go out.
Hunts are usually stalking for however long you like. If you are
in need of a drive, we can make that happen. Treestands are located throughough the preserve for archery and crossbow. After harvesting your animal,
we field dress it and we can take it to our local butcher. Their
prices are reasonable and his end-result a vacuum-sealed product,
ready for the freezer. You can also take it to your own processor
if you like. A home-cooked meal will be served for you and your
party at lunchtime.
What are the price ranges?
Prices are based on age and score:
Under 200" 2 year olds:
- 5x5 . . .$1,200
- 6x6 . . .$1,500
200-250" . . .$1,500 - 2,000
250-275" . . .$2,000 - 3,000
275-300" . . .$3,000 - 4,000
300"+ . . . . . $4,000 - and up.
Females . . . .$800
How do you book a hunt with us?
Simply give us a call or send an email to let us
know you're interested. We suggest you set up
a meeting time to visit the farm and pick your
animal personally. On average there are 10 to
15 animals in your price range. We are also
glad
to send you pictures via email of the animals in
your requested price range. Animals are held by
deposit on a first come, first serve basis which
starts in August. Credit cards are accepted for a 2% fee of total cost.
